My cosmic nature
Paul SuePat
Venturing and spending time outside during the pandemic allowed me to rediscover the outdoors and how earlier civilizations looked up and worshiped the nature and skies. I often dream of a world without people.
I begin with just playing around with paints, to see how they react with each other as they come together.
I then manipulate the placement of colors, attuned and inspired by the different skies, dust, gases and shadows, and air surrounding all of us. I also reflect on my childhood, playing in the dirt and growing up surrounded by cactus and succulents, remembering how nature made me feel so free.
