He is intrigued by extremes and contrast.  He is in flux between ambiguity and definition, chaos and order, and representation and abstraction.  His work displays the changes in his aesthetics.  There is repetition of visual shapes and textures, molded by layers of paint.  His art suggest metaphor and symbolism.
